Abstract

The main commodity of Pacitan Regency is tuna tofu. There are 33 tofu industries in Pacitan Regency. Tofu industry produces solid waste and liquid waste. The purpose of this study was analyze the effect of the addition of EM4 in the composting process of tofu industrial solid waste on the content of C/N ratio, phosphorus, and potassium. Study is a pre-experimental study with design that researchers only see the results without measuring the previous state, but using a control group. The object of this study is solid waste tofu industry. The treatment was repeated 10 times with each treatment being T1 (15 ml), T2 (25 ml), T3 (35 ml), and T4 (0 ml). The composting process was carried out for 7 days and carried out physical observations, namely measurements of the degree of acidity (pH), temperature, and humidity. The Data were analyzed using a one Way ANOVA Test. Based on data obtained from laboratory tests C / N ratio, phosphorus, and potassium get the average C / N ratio is 19,57% ; 15,21% ; 12,82% ; 22,80%, the average yield on phosphor is 0,18% ; 0,28% ; 0,34% ; 0,11%, and average results- average potassium namely 0,58% ; 0,79% ; 0,97% ; 0,41%. The results were in accordance with the standard quality of solid oorganik fertilizer based on SNI 90-7030-2004 then the data were analyzed using a one Way ANOVA test with a value of 0.054effect on the content of C / N ratio, phosphorus, and potassium in solid oorganik fertilizer solid waste tofu industry.
